Hi parents,
I've been researching summer camps, and many have early registration discounts if you register in March and April. I've concentrated on places close to our home that are run by certified teachers and/or adults, rather than high school students looking for a summer job or community hours.
I thought I'd pass on the info for those who are interested. We found last year an amazing option for kids 6 and above. There is an art studio called Art Atelier where you can meet all those parent requirements.
Teachers are real professionals and certified artists. The environment is super peaceful and enriching. And the best of all; Kids learn to do real art while their having fun. This is an indoors camp!! No rain or storm last minute cancellations.
The studio prepares kids during the entire year by teaching them art in a professional way. The do portfolio preparation for art magnet schools; as well as regular art classes for kids, teens and adults.

Their space is limited... The groups are very small. They will open another branch in Kendall beside their actual location in The Falls area.
